FST Breathalyser Re-Calibration Service

The FST Premium Re-Calibration Service is for customers who just require an "Ad-hoc" recalibration of Intoximeter Alco-Sense FST breathalyser units.   ITS Test Kits can offer this FST Premium Re-Calibration Service even if you purchased your Intoximeter FST units from another supplier.

As a registered and approved Intoximeter re-calibration centre, we will undertake our thorough recalibration service on your unit. Unlike other services, we will carry out an accuracy check first to see if the unit was performing accurately. If not, then this will be reported back to you.

We will then recalibrate your unit and complete further accuracy checks, before returning it with a certificate of calibration.  ITS Test Kits will guarantee to carry out this service and despatch your unit within 24hrs from receipt, working days only. This service will include next working day return delivery service i.e. 2-3 working days in total. Customers who subscribe to our popular and convenient Re-calibration Programme Management Service will benefit from further discounts and unique value-added services.

Why Recalibrate

Recalibration (or Calibration) of your Intoximeter FST alcohol breathalyser should be a necessary and scheduled part of your processes to enable accurate and legally defensible breath test results. Over time, an alcohol breathalyser may lose accuracy around the last calibration. This is normal. The reasons for testing will dictate how often you should accuracy check and also recalibrate / calibrate your device. Whilst different manufacturers will recommend different time frames for calibration, this is what Intoximeters recommend for the FST range:

  • When used in a “disciplinary” application, every 6 months
  • When used in a “non-disciplinary” or general monitoring application, every 12 months

At Innovative Testing Solutions Limited (ITS), we aim to despatch goods every day Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Most orders placed and accepted before 12.30 pm Monday to Friday will be despatched on the same working day. Orders placed and accepted after 12.30pm Monday to Friday will be despatched on the next working day.

Shipping costs are generally based upon the weight of your order and the delivery method. Once at the checkout screen, shipping choices/charges will be displayed.

Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for very large or very heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.
