Shipping information

At Innovative Testing Solutions Limited (ITS), we aim to despatch goods every day Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Most orders placed and accepted before 12.30pm Monday to Friday will be despatched on the same working day. Orders placed and accepted after 12.30pm Monday to Friday will be despatched on the next working day.

Shipping costs are generally based upon the weight of your order and the delivery method. To find out how much your order will cost, simply add the items you would like to purchase to your basket, and proceed to the checkout page. Once at the checkout screen, shipping choices/charges will be displayed.

Additional shipping charges may apply to remote areas or for very large or very heavy items. You will be advised of any charges on the checkout page.

All orders placed with a value of GBP £100.00 (not including VAT and P&P) or greater will be eligible for “Free Shipping”, as long as all items are ordered together (under one transaction). “Free Shipping” applies to the UK mainland only (barring Highlands and Islands and other similar remote areas as defined by our delivery partners). “Free Shipping” is by 2nd Class Royal Mail service (or similar alternative) with an estimated time of delivery of 2 to 5 working days.

ITS understand that you may require items quicker. The only service that is guaranteed* for next working day delivery (only applies for delivery on weekdays and not including bank holidays) is our Express delivery option via Royal Mail Special Delivery, Courier or similar. If you require your products/items urgently then please ensure you select this option. Please note: this is a “paid for service” and weight restrictions may apply.

For large/bulk orders, we may require a signature at delivery. We reserve the right to change an order to courier/signed for delivery if it is too bulky or heavy for Royal Mail and/or to select a delivery service that may require a signature, if we deem this necessary.

Date of delivery may vary due to Force Majeure, carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments. ITS cannot be held responsible for any delays that occur whilst goods are “in transit” and aim to communicate any such delays with you asap.

ITS are happy to offer a same day delivery using a “same day courier” service where possible. Price will be quoted on application. Alternatively, you may arrange to have your own courier collect from our premises (by appointment only).

You may select your shipping option on the second checkout page when prompted. These range from “Free” (2-5 working days) through to “Same Day” (price on application):

Free Economy Shipping (2-5 working days)

2nd Class Royal Mail or Similar (on eligible orders only – £100.00 spend excl. vat and P&P)

Despatch into the next available Royal Mail collection or similar, for delivery within the UK mainland only (barring Highlands and Islands and other similar remote areas as defined by our delivery partners) and delivered in 2-5 working days (95%). The majority of parcels get there within 2-3 business days from despatch but this is not guaranteed either by ITS, or the Royal Mail or similar.

Standard Economy Shipping (2-5 working days)

2nd Class Royal Mail or Similar (“Signed For”)

Despatch into the next available Royal Mail collection or similar, for delivery within the UK mainland only (barring Highlands and Islands and other similar remote areas as defined by our delivery partners) and delivered in 2-5 working days (95%). Premium Economy Shipping (1-3 working days)

1st Class Royal Mail or Similar (“Signed For”)

Despatch into the next available Royal Mail collection or similar, for delivery within the UK mainland only (barring Highlands and Islands and other similar remote areas as defined by our delivery partners) and delivered in 1-3 working days. The majority of parcels will get there within 2-3 working days from despatch but this is not guaranteed either by ITS, or the Royal Mail or similar. Trackable & insured with a signature required on delivery.

Express Shipping (Next working day) under 2kg

Express Delivery under 2kg (Royal Mail Special Delivery or Similar)

Despatch into the next available Royal Mail Special Delivery collection or similar, for delivery within the UK mainland only (barring Highlands and Islands and other similar remote areas as defined by our delivery partners), on the following working day (Monday-Friday excluding any bank holidays). Trackable & insured with a signature required on delivery. Only suitable for orders under 2kg in weight. This service is only guaranteed* for mainland UK (not remote areas). The carrier may decide to attempt delivery on a Saturday or Sunday. This is outside of our control and cannot be relied upon.

Express Shipping (Next working day) over 2kg

Express Delivery over 2kg (UK Mainland Courier or Similar)

Despatch into the UK Mainland Courier collection or similar, for delivery within the UK mainland only (barring Highlands and Islands and other similar remote areas as defined by our delivery partners), on the following working day (Monday-Friday excluding any bank holidays). This service is only guaranteed* for mainland UK (not remote areas). Trackable & insured with a signature required on delivery. Suitable for orders over 2kg in weight. The carrier may decide to attempt delivery on a Saturday or Sunday. This is outside of our control and cannot be relied upon.

Sameday UK Mainland Courier (mainland only) – £p.o.a.

ITS are happy to offer a same day delivery using a “same day courier” service where possible. Price will be quoted upon application and availability. Alternatively, you may arrange to have your own courier collect from our premises (by appointment only). This service cannot always be guaranteed and is only offered subject to availability. Please contact orders@itstestkits.com to enquire. Please use “URGENT – SAME DAY COURIER QUOTE REQUIRED” in the email title. Remember to include the delivery address with postcode, required product order volumes, your contact details etc so we can contact you accordingly. Please ensure that there will be someone at the delivery site to sign for and receive goods.

International Courier – £p.o.a.

ITS are happy to ship to international customers and/or addresses. All of our international orders are shipped by our preferred International Courier service. Trackable & insured with a signature required on delivery. Delivery terms and price will be quoted upon application. Please contact orders@itstestkits.com to enquire. Please use “URGENT – INTERNATIONAL COURIER QUOTE REQUIRED” in the email title. Remember to include the delivery address with postcode, required product order volumes, your contact details etc so we can contact you accordingly. All applicable import duties/taxes etc are the responsibility of the purchaser/buyer and not of ITS.

How do I check my order “status”?

You can e-mail our professional and friendly customer service team to check upon the status of your order at customerservice@itstestkits.com with full details of your basket/order number and contact details. Please use “URGENT – ORDER STATUS REQUIRED” in the email title.

Orders not received within 5 business days should be notified immediately by e-mail to customerservice@itstestkits.com with full details of your basket/order number and contact details. Please use “URGENT – ORDER NOT RECEIVED” in the email title. Emails are monitored 7 days per week between 08.00hrs – 20.00hrs.

Please ensure you use a valid and current e-mail address when placing orders

You will receive all confirmation and reference numbers relating to your order/purchase by e-mail. Please retain these details until your order has been delivered. Please quote these in any correspondence to us regarding your order. This makes it much easier for us to help.

Discretion and Confidentiality

Discretion and confidentiality is important to us, as it is with many of our customers. We therefore endeavour to send all deliveries in plain/discrete packaging where possible.
